The Supreme Court paved the way for the market regulator SEBI to sell some 86 properties of Subrata Roy led Sahara group worth an estimated Rs.4000 crore, giving hope to tens of thousands of investors who put their hard earned money in its various schemes. The Sahara group is said to originally owe around Rs.24000 crore to investors. Now it is time to start working on selling up the properties and make up the loss of investors in the best way possible.  The bench told the watchdog that the securities and Exchange Board of India should act in a planned way and give the investors a fresh lease of life. Sahara is in total soup after Supreme Court orders and things will take a new turn from hereon.
