Sanjay Dutt would have been a better choice than Amitabh Bachchan to replace Aamir Khan as Mascot for ‘Incredible India’ campaign. Aamir Khan might have lost out on account of his ‘intolerance’ remark and appointing Sanjay Dutt would have been a fitting reply by the government to prove our nations ‘tolerance’ to most things on earth.
Sanjay Dutt also is an incredible personality. He had all the contacts to avoid his imprisonment. His father and sister have been respected MP’s but they too never interfered in the law of the land. Dutt’s popularity was sky high after ‘Munnabhai’ success with the entire country rooting for him but he still respected our legal system and will be completing his jail term. There are many corrupt powerful people with multi-fold crimes bigger than Sanjay Dutt’s arms and ammunition possession case. They are freely roaming in our country but Dutt is a fine example of somebody setting an good example for the citizens of the country to follow the law.
Sanjay will be a free man next month and here is wishing the actor good health and happiness in life. The government should use his services in future public interest campaigns and let us all wish Sanjay Dutt all the success in life as he missed out on some precious moments of his life due to the unexpected turbulence in his life on account of his sentencing!
