The early release of Sanjay Dutt from the Pune’s Yerawada prison has raised several questions. The actor underwent 45 months of imprisonment in which he got parole as well as furloughs as he is the brother of former MP Priya Dutt. If he is a common man no one would have cared to give him so many allowances and an early release in the end. Now Sanjay does not need furlough under suspicious circumstances and still got no extension but an early release. To use a cliché he was given a hero’s welcome. It was a long walk to freedom. However, days before his slated release a PIL challenging his release is coming up for hearing.
