The mystery regarding the murder of RTI activist Bhupendra Vira is cleared as ex-corporator’s son confessed to the killing of the city activist in a fist of anger. The Mumbai crime branch has recovered the proof of murder and thus cleared the air. In a series of murders, one more RTI activist’s life was lost in a house attack and clearly gives the feeling that the people doing good for the society does not have a say on social issues and thereby fall prey to the might of the goons in the city. This has happened in both the cases of Pansare and Dabholkar and arresting the culprits have become a question mark for the law makers. Time again the police is not in a position to provide security for the RTI activists and people may desist from writing such controversial issues in future.
