Team India is tightening its screws in T-20 supremacy with a series win against Sri Lanka at Visakhapatnam. After losing the first match of the series, the Indian side did not find it difficult to overcome a depleted Sri Lankan side in the next two games. With a 69 runs win and now a nine wicket victory all add colour to our run for the T-20 World cup title to be staged in India next month. The architect of the Indian win was none other than the ace all rounder Ravichandran Ashwin. His initial burst of spin bowling gave the Sri Lankans a shocking start, which they could not recover thereafter. Ashwin not only won the Man of the Match award for his 4 for 8 stint of bowling using the new ball but also was adjudged Man of the series for his all-round abilities. He is a match winner by his own right and move well ahead of the time to play all the three formats of the game including T-20 cricket. Both Dhoni and Virat Kohli did use him as a trump card bowler and that goes well for the off spinner. Sri Lankan side lost the knockout punch after winning the first game to clinch series. Team India showed significant success in T-20 form of the game in recent times. Kudos to them for pocketing one more home series victory with vagaries of the pitch and the crowd helped them very much to recover.
