Beautiful Sunanda Pushkar indeed had met an ugly end and this has been confirmed by FBI’s report that her death was on account of poisoning. It is over two years now since she was silenced for ulterior motives and here we are still debating if it was suicide or murder. The IPL connection along with her other business interest seems to have led to her murder and time for the investigating authorities to get their acts right and nail the culprits. The high profile wife of an equally high profile politician Shashi Tharoor couldn’t have possibly been killed by ordinary people for petty gains and this murder mystery should be investigated by the top brass and the skeletons in the cupboard needs to be revealed even if the names may shock the nations in the days to come. It is truly ironical that a woman as famous as Sunanda Pushkar can be murdered in India, then less said the better about other women who meet similar fate day in and day out in our country. The law in our country too must be amended so that such cases which involves cruelty against women are tried in fast courts for speedier investigations and judgment!
