Journalists and lensmen thrashed outside Bombay House by security guards stationed outside Tata headquarters came as a shock and must be condemned by all. Ugly battle inside and physical violence outside Bombay House is truly a stigma on the over a century old Tata empire which was hitherto known for ethics, principles and peace. Journalism is a thankless job and one feels sorry for men from the Fourth Estate who were brutally thrashed for doing their job and duty. Tata group did apologise in writing for the sad incident and one hopes such things are not repeated in the country in future. Tsunami has struck the Tata group in recent times after the slugfest between Ratan Tata and Cyrus Mistry came to limelight in public domain but one hopes better sense prevail and the matter is sorted out in private boardrooms than in the courtrooms which would be bad for all including the nation which has lot at stake in the group.
