BJP government is trying hard and waging an internal war against the Muslim community. With the result the Muslims red flag Uniform Civil Code and that is not in good taste. It appears as though the Government is trying to dig out old law and thereby trying to make more changes in the Uniform Civil Code. The Government is trying to infuse in bringing the code of law and why the triple Talaq practice be not abolished are among the questions. It will be next to impossible to implement the code in a country like India having 200-300 personal laws covering various communities. It will be a futile exercise if the 16 point questionnaire failed to cross the first hurdle. Instead of just wasting time and dragging the issue an amicable solution can be arrived with the concerned people which include different strata of Muslim community in India. Better council will prevail after the first response.
