The woman who touched the heart of the poor and needy with her selfless service to mankind would finally be declared a saint by the Pope and Indians would truly feel proud to witness the canonisation of Mother Teresa that would happen in Vatican this coming Sunday. In today’s world of killings and hatred, Mother Teresa was a rare example of a woman who travelled miles across continents to devote her life for the unfortunate as she made Kolkata her adopted home to serve the needy.

It’s been 19 long years since Mother Teresa left for her heavenly abode but the lessons and services which she imbibed in our society is still practiced and followed which speaks about her great qualities. She was an inspiration to one and all and the world in general and Indians in particular are truly indebted to her for uplifting humanity and humility in every sphere of life. The world would never ever have somebody like her on earth again!
