Padsalgikar is the new head as Mumbai Police Chief and it is a good news for Mumbaikars. Ahmaad Javed is posted as India’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia and it is a good break up for the senior officer. The main aim of the Police Commissioner is to bring the crime rates down and bring the culprits to books without wasting time. This will send right signals to the culprits to be on safer side and the crime rate will come down drastically. The law and order situation is not up to the desired level and needs to be pruned up. Rape and murder are taking place in every nook and corner of the city and the Commissioner must instruct the cops to go round and do day and night duty and apprehend the culprits on war footing. It is indeed a tough time for police officials to maintain balance and satisfy the public at the same time. We welcome the new police chief of Mumbai and we extend full co-operation from the public side to make his job more easy.
