Yoga Becoming Part And Parcel

Slowly and steadily Yoga is becoming part and parcel of the life of people.  From the President Pranab Mukherjee to Prime Minister all are giving importance and that is a good news. This day is celebrated as an International Yoga day and as Indians we are all proud of the day.  President urged people to make yoga an integral part of life as it promotes better health and brings harmony. He was leading about 1,000 people at a yoga event at Rashtrapati Bhavan to mark the second International Yoga Day. The President opined that yoga provided mental and physical strength to people. It will enable us to live a healthy life. It will create overall harmony between body and mind. It will enhance mental and physical well-being. Health is wealth and we can strive for better living without much health problems. In a brief address on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to embrace yoga for better physical and mental health. He led the second International Yoga Day celebrations as he pitched for treating diseases like diabetes through the spiritual discipline. Over 30,000 people performed yoga asana during the event held at the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh amid tight security. It is indeed a day to remember.
