Weeks after the news of an affair between French President Francois Hollande and actress Juliet Gayet surfaced, rumours of US President Barack Obama being allegedly in love with singer Beyonce are now doing the rounds.
The rumours started after a French paparazzo claimed that Obama and Beyonce are having an affair and that the news will be published in the Washington Post.
However, the paper termed the claims as ‘false’ and clarified that it will not publish any such report.
Even photographer Pascal Rostain, who has earlier made the announcement about the affair, later retracted his statement. The claims were made as Hollande started his US visit on Tuesday without his long-time partner Valerie Trierweiler. Prior to the US visit, he was surrounded by controversy over his love affair with Gayet. It is a well-known fact that Obamas are on good terms with Beyonce and her husband Jay Z.
While Barack and Michelle Obama, who recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary, are parents to daughter Sasha and Malia, Beyonce and Jay Z have been married for six years and are parents to daughter Blue Ivy.
Beyonce even recently performed at the wedding anniversary of the Obamas.
