The Oshiwara Police have arrested two gangs of housebreakers responsible for committing several housebreaking crimes across the city. The arrested accused has being identified as Shamshad Ali Mansuri (25) and one of his associate Lalji Shukla was arrested from Azamgad, Uttar Pradesh. Police have recovered 201000 from the arrested accused. The accused have confessed that they have committed several housebreaking crimes in the past.
In another case, the Oshiwara Police have arrested two persons namely Yogesh Babulal Jaiswal (29 ) and Vinod Devrao Devkar (27) for house break-ins.
“The arrested accused are habitual criminals. Earlier they were externed from Mumbai but they continued to commit house break-ins. A laptop has been recovered from them which they had stolen from Bombay Hospital, MHADA office” Senior Police Inspector Subash Vele from Oshiwara Police station said.
