It was woman power at its very best at ” Puncham Bazaar ” as women from every nook and corner of the country gathered to display very exclusive designer wear, artefacts, jewellery, footwear, cosmetics and a whole range of household items, in what was a one of its kind unique exhibition cum sale at the Taj President, Cuffe Parade.
Voicing his support for greater opportunities and power for women, was Dr. Ajeenkya Patil, Chairman of the Dr. Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil Group. Shailesh Lodha of “Taarak Mehta ka ulta chasma ” fame did the honours and spent quality time at this gathering despite an eye infection. A foot injury did not dampen Sandhya shetty’s spirits as she had a good dekko at the various fancy items on display.
Pramoud Rao, Managing Director of Zicom Electronic Security Systems, made a rare appearance. Viveck Shettyy, Managing Director, Indus Communications was all praise for the spectacular effort of the all women NGO Puncham that spearheaded the initiative of ‘Puncham Bazaar”. The shopping bug had well and truly bitten Dr. Nandita Palshetkar at this bazaar and she was thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Aneel Murarka was punctuality personified and was engaged in an extended conversation with Pinkey Ahluwalia, honourable vice consul of Belgium. Rani Poddar, Chairperson of Puncham – the NGO, personally received all her guests.
