The Kandivali Police have arrested a couple for running a prostitution racket from a ladies beauty parlour at Kandivali (W) on Thursday evening. They rescued three young girls and sent them to remand room.
The accused have been identified as Nasreem Sheikh (32) and Sabbir Sheikh (21). The duo is residents of Malwani, Malad (W). They are running a family beauty salon named Choice at Sairaj Garden building, Iraniwadi, Kandivali (W).
Police Inspector Anil Desai of Kandivali Police Station said, “The accused were running prostitution racket inside the beauty salon from last three months. We rescued three girls who were indulging in prostitution activities.”
Zone 11 Deputy Commissioner of Police Balsingh Rajput received a tip off about the prostitution racket as his team raided the salon and arrested the accused.
