Toilet-troubleWhile all politicians like to be seen everywhere ahead of elections, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray is unhappy with a poster of his put atop an air-conditioned toilet in Kandivli (East).

The MNS chief has asked his party workers to remove the banner showing his picture.

Addressing people at the launch of MNS MLA Pravin Darekar’s book, Thackeray said, “People using the toilet will get embarrassed. They’ll think I’m looking at them.”

Darekar said that Thackeray’s picture would be removed at the earliest. “I’ll also pull down my photo from the banner. With the banner atop, the toilet feels more like an office.”

Undaunted by the political drubbing in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Raj Thackeray has projected himself as a chief minister for the ensuing Assembly Elections in Maharashtra.

Thackeray, 45, has declared that he would not only contest the Assembly Elections, but also head the government, if his party was voted to power.
