By seeing the pathetic position of the roads in Mumbai it raises a big question mark that whether we are in Mumbai or Mars. Commuters are put to test to travel on these treacherous roads. Road accidents are common as the monsoon rains left many a pot holes in the streets of Mumbai and navigating through these craters and potholes are hell of task of motor drivers. Slowly and steadily people prefer local trains to avoid the ordeal. People lead a bumpy ride and the posh areas also face the same problem. With the result there are traffic jams and snarls all over the Mumbai roads making it rather uncomfortable to use the motorways. BMC is helpless and paying prices for appointing careless contractors even though they are black listed in the past. Public money is going waste the ride keeps getting bumpier all the time in a four month monsoon season.
