A Class 8 boy in West Bengal today died after allegedly jumping off the fifth floor of his school near Kolkata airport.
The incident took place at around 3.30 pm.
The police say the 13-year-old student scaled the high grill and jumped. He was declared dead in hospital.
“We are investigating the case and are probing all angles,” a senior police official of Bidhanagar Police Commissionerate said.
