Provide a boost to ‘Make in India’ initiative

Our hatred against Pakistan is understandable but are we not practicing double standards by buying cheap Chinese products from a nation that is a close and dear friend of our enemy country? India is flooded with goods made in China as these products come to us at a throwaway price. We must give our economy a boost by using things manufactured in our country. They may be a little costly but that would be actual national pride than boycotting cricket or films involving men from across the borders. Using ‘Make in India’ products would mean creating job opportunities for the unemployed which would indirectly solve most problems like inequality and social crimes as these evils happen when people are idle. The government too can do their bit by increasing import duty so that outside goods become unaffordable and at the same time giving concessions to Indian manufacturers to become competitive!
