UP Board 12th examination result highlighted students who not only managed to pass the exam with limited resources, but also topped the race numbers. Khalsa Girls School fringe topper with 92 per cent, Aanchal Kumar is one such.
A resident of Meerut city in Uttar Pradesh, Aanchal’s father Rajendra Kumar owns a juice stall on Citadel Road, holding responsibility of upbringing of two sons and two daughters.
School topper Aanchal always aimed to become a doctor, but how? This question would rise in her father’s eyes day and night and fulfilling his daughter’s dream seemed to him a nightmare. Aanchal said, “medical education is not going to be easy. I’m going to take admission in B.Sc and will prepare for PMT simultaneously.”
The Principal of the school, Dr. Manu Bhardwaj, however said he will try his best to provide all possible facilities to help her achieve her goal.
